An Update On Lucky

September 2003

Lucky

Lucky is now 2-and-a-half, and has completely healed from the injuries he received just a few days after he was born. The only visible evidence from his traumatic experience with the motorized gardening tool are a few scars, which are covered by fur.

Lucky

Shortly after I adopted Lucky, we all relocated to upstate New York. Now, Lucky and the other felines have a huge house with plenty of room to roam about and play.

He has grown to be a very affectionate member of the family here, and regularly grooms everyone else, including me.

Lucky

Occasionally when we have visitors, Lucky acts like a true host. He greets people at the front door, sits with them in the living room, and gets involved in any conversations that may occur. He looks at people when he talks to them, and if he doesn't get an answer... he walks up to them and taps them on an arm or leg as if to say: "Hey, I'm talking to you!"

Lucky

He's a lucky cat, and I'm a lucky person for having him in my life.
