Little Tiger on the prowl!
Tiger MartRestless, after the usual time of waking,
tremulous, resolute, not shaking...
Tiger Mart, two blocks away, Porcher in between,
clapboard condominiums, residents rarely seen.
Warmer than the day before, five years left,
Hanging in there, hopefully a few more,
is it easier to look backward,
or to realize, "Never will be a score."
But now the Tiger Mart is warm and nice,
bread is fresh, not overpriced,
sky darkening, ominously warning,
talk of the weather, "Will it pour?"
Conversation pleasant, casual, relaxed,
strode faster returning to the Caravelle Resort.
Don't fear dying, wait a spell...
life's assessment, "You're learning."
