Options: do you put the cat to sleep, is it right
or is it neat, victory or defeat, decision making...
the choice made then there's no retreat.
But the cat you've loved and kept so long,
which direction is right or wrong?
the family pet needs a proper swan song.
Now I ponder, where's the Lord, who commands?
The decision is in your hands, there are no rainbows,
no departure bands, no burying your heads in the sand...
We had pets in abject conditions I took them to die,
painless, the physician agreed, we knew of no other path...
the pain ceased our and our family, both released.
