I have often been asked who is behind the Moggies Web Site. The answer to that is one person, "Padraig" and not forgetting my cat Beauty, the "Real King of England" (named by Kathy from New York!) loves to help with the typing, when my back is turned, and sometimes when it isn't (we can give Beauty credit for the occasional typing error). However Beauty is a real specialist, and a great help in keeping the site free of viruses, by keeping the Internet Mice away from the Monitor.

Costs of maintaining a site on the Internet are increasing. "Hacker defense", "Spam protection" and several other Internet related costs rising. Currently there is no charge for any information or service on this site and there never will be. You are welcome to visit and browse this site as often as you wish.

I maintain this site because I love it. It has never been intended to become commercial or to provide an income to me. As long as I have a working phone line for my modem and electricity to power the computer, I suspect Moggies will "be around".

If you find the site and information we have useful, we would very much appreciate a contribution in whatever amount you can afford. I can accept personal cheques (checks) drawn on a bank in the UK, USA or the European Common Market. Cash (from any of these areas) is also accepted, although there is a much higher risk sending cash through the mail.

All donations will be first used to pay for Internet Services and Charges where needed, any remainder will be donated to a local "no kill" cat charity.
