Anyone lost a blind cat?
A caring cat lover helped a blind cat after seeing it struggling in the street.
Teresa Wislocka, of Parklands Way, Blackburn had seen the ginger and white animal outside her house looking confused and lost since early on Thursday the 14th March 2002.
She said: "It kept crashing into the gate because it couldn't see so I dashed outside to help and realised it had no eyes. I took it into the greenhouse and fed it. It is well looked-after and its owners must be frantic looking for it."
Mrs Wislocka has cats of her own which would not have liked a 'stranger' in the house, so she took the stray to Maureen Savage, at rescue charity Moggies, in Stansfield Street, Darwen. The owner of the cat can contact Maureen on 01254-708171 (UK).
Update 12th March 2002: Mia has been found and is safely back with her owner.

Update 5th March 2002: Phoebe's owner has been found. Christina (the owner) and Phoebe are reunited at last! Christina would like to give special thanks to Hilly (from New York) for keeping Phoebe safe and happy.

Above and below: Phoebe, found in New York.
Possibly 3-4 years old. Wearing a collar with the name Phoebe, a location "Faytvle - NC" and a phone number that sadly is now disconnected. The tag on the collar says "faytvle" but it's probably short for "Fayetteville." She's rather clean, with only some scarring around the ears. Phoebe is possibly from the Goshen area of New York.
