Remember: Anything not nailed down is a cat toy!

Kitty Haiku

Haiku is a traditional Japanese verse form. It is never longer than 3 lines, contains only 17 syllables and yet creates imagery in the mind of the reader.

Do you have a Kitty Haiku that you would like to share? Please send any cattish Haiku's to Padraig for inclusion on this page.

Need tranquilizers?
Pet my fur and feel your big
troubles melt away.

I am the top cat.
The best there has ever been.
Surely you agree!

Where are the thumbed ones?
Why do you think I keep you?
IT IS FEEDING TIME!

I walk on branches,
with impeccable balance...
a Hawk knocks me off.

I leap and I jump,
I play all day until I
have to sleep and purr.

I'll say it again
I meant to do it that way
I am not a klutz.

How dare you stroke me?
I purred at you, you gave me
food, now go away!
