My mother, Pat Rhodes is an artist and she showed me how to really look at a subject and capture it on paper. I am now a pet portrait and wildlife artist. I work from photographs and sketches. Although I do undertake other subjects, wildlife and animals will always be my favourite. I like to draw in great detail and capture the texture of an animals fur or skin.
