An illustration of a Japanese fairy tale. It is named "A black cat from Crescent Village." Written by Naoko Awa. The story goes along the lines: "One night, a black one-eyed cat arrived in a town. He came to help a boy who is his master's grandson out of difficulty from his home Crescent Village."
