Bonkers & Eric

Eric & Bonkers, two little furry felines from Ibiza.

"The little tortoiseshell and white one we nicknamed Eric. Her real name is Alma, which is Spanish for 'soul'. She was about 6 weeks old when we met her, and very grown up and well behaved for her age. She was a real little angel. She belonged to a couple who were travelling and were staying at the same campsite as us. Don't ask me why we gave her a boys name - it just suited her! The black cat we nicknamed Bonkers, because of his personality. I can't spell his real name, but he will always be 'bonkers' to me! :-) He was about 10 weeks old when we met him, and belonged to an English lady who lived over there. Bonkers' mum named Mimi and a large dog called Mara also kept him company. Together, they invaded our tipi, slept on the mattresses, and thought that we existed purely for their entertainment. It made such a nice change to know that they had humans looking after them, and that they weren't relying on tourists for anything." - Lynda
