Felix Factor

Ali Bastian

Dancing Queen, Ali Bastian (pictured), launches a nationwide search to find Britain's most mischievous kitten. The hunt is now on to seek out furry rascals up and down the country to crown the most mischievous one of all!

The Felix Kitten Factor celebrates the mischief and fun that kittens bring to all those who have one, and as our feline friends are still by far the most popular household pet , there should be plenty of stories to tell.

Do you have a kitten that's always causing moments of mayhem? Perhaps you find him hiding in all sorts of places. Does he appear from nowhere to pounce on your feet? Whatever your kitten gets up to, Felix wants to know and his mischievous antics could benefit you both as there's a £1,000 prize to be won as well as a whole year's supply of Felix!

What's more - for every entry to the Felix Kitten Factor, Felix will donate £1 to Cats Protection, the UK's leading feline charity.

All you have to do is go to the Felix Kitten Factor website - www.catslikefelix.co.uk/mischief - and enter your kitten into the competition. Simply upload a photograph of your loveable rascal and explain why he or she is the most mischievous kitten in Britain.

All the kittens entered will be displayed in a gallery on the site. What's more the competition is open to the public vote, so get your friends and family behind you and encourage them to go online to vote for your kitten. After carefully considering each tale of mischief, a judging panel will then pick 11 runners up and one overall winner from the top 25 kittens with the most votes.

Ali Bastian

Actress and TV personality, Ali Bastian, who often has her hands full with her own gorgeous cats Nala and Brutus, loves a bit of mischief; "I have two 18 month old British shorthairs Nala and Brutas, and I really have my hands full! Particularly with Nala, who tends to get herself in all sorts of precarious situations. She recently climbed on to the roof, and I had no idea until Brutas came to find me. He climbed all over me until I realised something must be up and went to her rescue. They now have this system firmly in place where she gets in to mischief and he comes to raise the alarm! I'm sure many of the entries to the Felix Kitten Factor will tell a similar tale, and help to raise money for a fantastic charity at the same time."

The competition is open from 17th May, 2010, to 12th September 2010, and the winning kitten and the runners up will be announced in September, 2010. Not only will the winner receive £1,000 and a year's supply of Felix but eleven runners up will each receive three months free Felix too.
