Can it be fitted in glass? Yes but you will need to have a new unit of glazing supplied with the correct size hole already cut. It is cheaper to install either in a door (UPVC/wood is best) or through a wall. Special wall tunnel pieces are available from our website that people can use to make a really neat job of a wall installation so that the cat has a perfectly smooth surface to walk over - can be up to 14 inches from end to end.
Will it work with my cats chip? It works with Bayer Tracer, Identichip, Petlog, Verbac, AVID and others. The only one it will not work so well with is the temperature sensing Biotherm chip. All other 15 digit European chips will work perfectly.
