Cat lovers are once again being put on guard after another anti-freeze related death in Bridgwater. The Mercury reported last month how 11 cats from the Bower area died from poisoning, with anti-freeze the likely killer in each case. This week, Castle Veterinary Surgeons, formerly the Daniel and Associates Veterinary Surgery, told the Mercury lab results have confirmed another cat has died from anti-freeze, this time from the Coleridge Road area of Bridgwater. Jaan Bartels, of Castle Veterinary Surgeons, said: "I would like to urge all people that change their vehicle coolant and window washer fluids during spring-time to take care not to leave any liquids neglectfully open in such a way animals could easily drink it or even children for that matter." |
