Cookie Companion to Martin & Family. This litle animal, although sometimes exasperating, has captured our hearts. We got her soon after losing our beloved "Muffin" who lost her eyesight at the age of 18 and became increasingly disoriented. Cookie is extremely curious and has to inspect absolutely everything. Unfortunately that includes anything we put on the kitchen table and any closet with a momentarily open door. This habit got her locked in the guest closet for several hours yesterday until we came home from the movies and started searching for her. No matter what we are doing at the moment, she is not far away, watching us intently. I often imagine her as a journalist for a cat newspaper, doing an undercover report on the habits of humans. Her two favorite toys are so shaped that she can pick them up in her mouth. After playing hockey with these plastic items she calmly picks them up and deposits them at our feet until we throw them again to the end of the corridor or down the stairs.
